The cage protects your camera and provides multiple mounting points for accessories. It features a cold shoe and multiple 1/4''-20, 3/8''-16 and ARRI-style connections, allowing you to add various accessories to your rig. Furthermore, the cage has strap slots so you can wear it on a wrist strap. You attach the cage to your camera with a 1/4""-20 screw. The camera controls remain accessible when the cage is attached.
